Sales & Marketing Consultant

Barry originally trained as a Chartered Surveryor. He went on to own and subsequently sell a highly successful multi-disciplined property services company, prior to the formation of Charles James Homes in 1995.

Steve Humphrey

Construction Manager

Steve is a local man, having lived in West Sussex all his life. He is an invaluable member of the Charles James Homes construction team, with over 20 years experience in the industry.

Les Upton

Customer Care Manager

Heading up our Customer Care Department is Les Upton. As well as being a highly skilled carpenter and joiner, Les is also able to turn his hand to most everyday problems, which sometimes unexpectedly occur with the "running in" of a new home.

Jan Welch

Construction Co-ordinator

The day to day organising of our construction team is in the safe hands of Jan Welch. Jan has many years experience working in the residential house building industry and is also PA to Richard Sullivan.

Brenda Wells

PA to Barry Rayner

The day to day administration of all sales and marketing matters at Charles James Homes is in the capable hands of Brenda Wells. Brenda worked for a number of international corporations prior to joining Charles James Homes.

Graham Cox

Senior Site Foreman

Graham trained as a groundworker upon leaving school and over the last 10 years has worked his way through the construction side of CJH to the position of Senior Site Foreman. Graham is multi talented and is a highly regarded member of the construction team.
