"Sense of Quality" Made the Final Decision on Which Home to Buy
Buying a home is a major financial decision in anyone's life so it is interesting to know what swings the decision to any particular property. With Xavier and Peggy Bailliet it was the quality of the home.
"Immediately upon entering there was a sense of quality", says Xavier who, together with his wife bought a brand new, four bedroom, end of terrace home in Storrington from developers Charles James Homes.
The couple lived in Horley and wanted to be in a more rural landscape whilst still being able to commute easily, by road, to their places of work in Crawley and Gatwick airport. Storrington was the perfect location with an active shopping centre, surrounded by miles of open countryside and fast road access Northwards to the M23/M25.
"We looked at two new developments in Storrington at the time", continues Xavier "but immediately upon entering the one at Hillcrest, we noticed the quality. It was the attention to detail which impressed me such as the quality of the building materials used, the fact there were lots of power points and TV points in all the rooms, the doors were heavy, quality style, all of which makes a profound difference. I felt that the company had not skimped on anything".
In fact it was a telephone call from Sales Executive, Jenny Winchester, which clinched the deal, as she was insistent that they did not just drive past the property but took the time to venture inside and make an informed decision.
Concluded Xavier, "The house was like a Tardis! It opened up to give really good sized rooms, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and a balconette with fabulous views towards the South Downs. We are delighted with our purchase".
